A friend of mine posted a picture of an old alumunum perculating coffee pot. I just happen to mention that I believe it was made in China. He told me to take my own picture of a coffee pot?
I was just musing on his post. Isn't that what FB is for? Or is it a pay attention to meeeeeeee thing? Which makes me think. I take pictures of the world I live in to make meaning out of my life, I think. But I very rarely take any pictures of myself and that seems to be what everyone else is doing.
Face Book has become the Look at Me Book. Which I have to say is not a bad thing. though the way we are all relating to one another is drastically changing since the advent of all these social media sites. What is real any more? It all just seems to get scrambled up in all this cyber space and you have exactly 3 seconds to be noticed. Crazy huh....
So am I just doing the same thing when I post images of life around me and then post it to Face Book as a pay attention to me moment? It's me but not me really.
